Medical Office (Dental) Job at UDSM

Job Description

We are seeking qualified and motivated individuals to fill this position. Applicants must hold a Bachelor Degree in Dentistry from a recognized and reputable institution plus successful completion of internship period of one year in one of the consultant hospitals and has provisional registration as a Medical Officer with the Tanganyika Medical Council.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To admit and manage patients within the dispensary and outside the University;
• To provide medical services to patients and clients;
• To refer patients to specialists where necessary;
• To assist in undertaking curative services of different diseases conditions;
• To assist in providing health education which is geared to preventive measures to the community?
• To identify report and control epidemic disease conditions;

Qualifications

Holder of Bachelor Degree in Dentistry from a recognized and reputable institution plus successful completion of internship period of one year in one of the consultant hospitals and has provisional registration as a Medical Officer with the Tanganyika Medical Council.
