Duties and Responsibilities
As a Medical Doctor at CCBRT, you will play a vital role in our inpatient and outpatient departments. Your duties will include:
- Clinical Care: Examining, screening, and treating patients across various departments.
- Ward Management: Admitting patients and managing inpatient care.
- Surgical Support: Performing minor procedures and assisting senior surgeons during major operations.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinating with Senior Medical Doctors and Specialists regarding patient discharges and treatment plans.
- Outreach & Flexibility: Participating in community outreach and working a rotating shift schedule (including nights and weekends).
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Education: A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized institution (Minimum GPA of 2.7).
- Experience: Successful completion of a one-year internship plus at least 1 year of post-internship work experience with a reputable organization.
- Licensing: Registered with the Tanganyika Medical Council with a valid 2026 practitioner license.
- Skills: Proficiency in computer applications and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Communication: Fluency in both English and Swahili (written and verbal).
- Attributes: A pro-active attitude, client-focused mindset, and a commitment to teamwork.
