1. Copyright, Trademarks, and Intellectual Property
Copyright in the material, software, user interface design, graphics, and trademarks on this Site are owned by Jerasp unless otherwise indicated.
- You agree not to infringe any intellectual property rights owned by Jerasp, its parent company, or its affiliates.
- You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute in any way any material from this or any other version of the Site including, but not limited to, code, images, advertising content, advertiser identities, logos, job content, product information, general content, pricing data, advertisements, advertiser details, user interface design, and software.
2. Personal, Non-Commercial Use Limitation
You agree that information contained on this Site is for personal use only and may not be sold, redistributed, or used for any commercial purpose.
- This restriction includes, but is not limited to, the harvesting or use of Employer/Advertiser contact details for unsolicited commercial correspondence or spam.
- You may download material from this Site for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.
- You agree that you may not purchase membership or platform access in order to access on behalf of others, modify, copy, reproduce, or distribute materials.
- Anti-Scraping Prohibition: You may not use data mining, robots, screen scraping, or similar data gathering and extraction tools on this Site for establishing, maintaining, advancing, or reproducing information contained on our Site on your own website or in any other publication, except with our prior written consent. Accessing logged-in areas without explicit permission for non-personal or commercial use constitutes legal trespass.

- Service Warranties: Jerasp provides no warranty that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Jerasp cannot and does not guarantee that files available for downloading through the Site or delivered via email will be free of infection, viruses, worms, or Trojan horses. You are responsible for maintaining backup means external to the Site for the reconstruction of any lost data.
- Security Disclaimer: While Jerasp takes due care to ensure data privacy, the risk remains that information could be unlawfully intercepted in transit or stored unlawfully on our systems by third parties. Jerasp disclaims all liability to the greatest extent possible pursuant to law should this occur.
4. User Accounts, Passwords, and Security
To become a registered user, you must provide a valid email, login name, and password.

5. Submission of Feedback and Ideas
You agree that Jerasp may reproduce, distribute, transmit, create derivative works of, and publicly display any materials and other information (including ideas for new or improved products and services) that you submit to public areas of the Site or via direct communication with us, subject to our Privacy Policy.
6. Recruitment Services (For Employers)
Jerasp offers online and hybrid recruitment solutions to employers looking to fill vacancies. Jerasp reserves the right to modify services, update pricing, or alter terms and conditions without prior notice. Jerasp does not guarantee a hire due to the subjective nature of the recruitment process.
A. Bundles
- Definition: Packages containing a combination of single-use recruitment services. They are not recurring subscriptions.
- Payment & Refunds: Payments must be made upfront before services are provisioned. All bundle sales are final; no refunds will be granted.
- Validity: Product credits from bundles are valid for 12 months from the date of proof of purchase, after which they automatically expire.
B. Bulk Purchases
- Definition: High volumes of online or hybrid recruitment services (e.g., job listings, job boosts) purchased collectively.
- Payment & Validity: These services are pre-paid. Applicable credits will be loaded into the employer account and expire 12 months after the payment date.
C. Subscription Services
- Definition: Recurring arrangements designed for continuous or high-volume hiring needs.
- Billing: Subscription services require pre-payment on the first (1st) day of each calendar month unless otherwise specified in an independent written contract.
Credit Expiration: Unutilized credits within a subscription month carry a maximum 3-month validity period, after which they lapse and expire.
7. Jerasp Pro-Recruit Terms and Conditions
The following terms govern our premium bespoke recruitment consulting service:
- Scope of Service: Jerasp will clarify the client’s Job Description via a pre-consultation call, run targeted ad campaigns, source candidate profiles, and provide five (5) qualified candidates within 5 to 7 working days
- Complimentary CV Re-runs: Jerasp will provide one extra batch of up to three (3) CVs strictly under two joint conditions: (i) the first batch fails to meet the verified job description parameters, and (ii) a period of not more than two (2) weeks has elapsed since the initial delivery.
- Overage Fees: Any additional candidate profiles requested beyond the contractual allocation will attract an independent cost of Tsh 50,00 (exclusive of VAT) per CV
- Financial Compensation: The client shall make a non-refundable upfront payment of Tsh 612,000 (exclusive of VAT) per position to official Jerasp payment channels.
- Exclusions: This tier strictly excludes executive headhunting, candidate placement replacements after a hire is completed, and external background checks. Purchased Pro-Recruit tokens expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Interview Protections: Employers must give candidates at least 48 hours’ notice for interviews and keep the Jerasp recruitment team informed. Jerasp is not responsible for scheduling failures if notice is shorter.
- Client Obligations: The client must review shared CVs and provide quality feedback within two (2) weeks of submission. The entire hiring round must be concluded within 4 weeks from initialization unless an alternate timeline was contractually established at the onset.
- Confidentiality & Non-Delegation: Jerasp will maintain total confidentiality regarding the client’s internal business affairs and will not delegate its professional obligations under this service to outside consultants without consent.
8. CV Writing and AI Career Tool Services (For Job Seekers)
Jerasp provides job seekers with resume hosting, human CV rewriting, and interactive AI-driven career growth tools (for cover letters, interview optimization, and offer negotiations) via strategic integration with our automated processors and third-party fulfillment vendors (“Processors”).
- Opt-In and Information Flow: By submitting your CV for a free review or purchasing a package, you explicitly opt-in and consent to Jerasp sharing your Personally Identifiable Information (PII)—including name, email address, age, gender, contact details, and resume text—with our designated Processors and sub-processor professional writers.
- AI Tool Responsibility: Content generated by AI tools is populated via user input. Jerasp does not guarantee employment outcomes. Users retain sole responsibility for reviewing and verifying AI-generated materials for accuracy before professional utilization. Jerasp accepts no liability for errors or professional damages resulting from AI-generated outputs.
- Youth Online Learning Promotion (Tanzania Only): Users aged 18 to 35 years (inclusive) who successfully complete any online learning course published on the Jerasp website will receive 1 month of complimentary premium access to the job portal. Upon expiration of this month, standard rates apply to extend access.
- Subscription Management & Auto-Renewal: Paid AI tool subscriptions **automatically renew** at the end of their chosen billing term (weekly, monthly, or quarterly) unless cancelled. Cancellations must be performed manually by the user within the dashboard under “My Order History”
- Data Access Termination: Upon cancellation or expiration of an active subscription, access to the interactive AI platform, documents, templates, and drafted resumes will cease. Users must download all personal documents prior to the end of their billing cycles.
9. Data Protection and International Processing
- Compliance: Our technical partners operate under strict privacy standards, remaining compliant with local legislation and GDPR principles.
- Legal Basis for Processing: Collection of personal data is required to fulfill our contractual obligations to deliver services. Aggregate metrics and tool enhancements are operated under the framework of “legitimate interest,” which does not override your fundamental rights. Refusal to yield data will result in the inability to access Jerasp services.
- Cross-Border Transfers: Data collected via the Site may be securely communicated to external consultants, automated data processors, and technical service providers located outside Tanzania solely for service execution and optimization.
10. General Legal Provisions
- Severability: If any part of this agreement is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, that specific portion shall be severed, and the remainder of the agreement will continue to be valid and fully enforceable.
- Survival: Termination of this agreement will not nullify clauses intended by their nature to survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liabilities, and confidentiality).
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This agreement, its interpretation, and all legal relationships stemming from the use of the Site shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Users irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Tanzania to resolve any disputes arising hereunder.

Because our platform provisions immediate digital credits, automated system access, and human consultancy resources, we operate under a strict, structured Refund Policy to maintain service integrity and operational transparency.
By purchasing any prepaid product, subscribing to a career tool, or executing a recruitment service contract on Jerasp.org, you explicitly agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Self-Service Online Prepaid Products
This category includes Standard Medical Job Listings, Job Boosts, Priority Urgent Tags, Candidate Assessment Credits, and any other digital self-service product requiring the upfront purchase of platform credits.
- Credit System: When purchasing these products, you are acquiring digital tokens or credits. These credits are deposited directly into your Employer Account and remain valid for use at any time up until their documented expiration date (typically twelve [12] months from purchase).

Refund Eligibility: All sales of self-service online prepaid products are final. Jerasp does not issue cash refunds, chargebacks, or credit reversals for these purchases under any circumstances once the digital credits have been successfully loaded into your account dashboard.
2. Bespoke Hybrid Recruitment & Pro-Recruit Solutions
This category applies to premium human-assisted consultancy services, including Jerasp Pro-Recruit packages, Executive Medical Placements, and specialized healthcare pipeline sourcing.

Non-Refundable Retainer: All specialized human recruitment engagements require an upfront payment or deposit. Thirty percent (30%) of this upfront value constitutes a non-refundable operational retainer. This fee immediately covers the administrative costs of candidate mapping, pre-consultation mapping, and dedicated recruiter hours.

Unfulfillable Engagements: In rare instances where our recruitment consultants or account managers establish that a hyper-specialized medical role cannot be reasonably fulfilled due to market scarcities or shifting institutional requirements, a partial refund of the remaining seventy percent (70%) balance may be evaluated.
