- Role: Dental Therapist
- Terms: Full-Time Contract
- Location: Haydom, Manyara, Tanzania
- Reporting to: Head of Dental Department
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive basic dental treatments and preventive oral health services.
- Community Health: Lead oral health education initiatives for patients and the local community.
- Quality Control: Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure all services meet HLH’s quality standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols within the dental clinic.
- Team Collaboration: Support the dental team and perform additional duties as assigned to ensure departmental excellence.
Qualification and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Education: A Diploma in Dental Therapy from a recognized training institution.
- Registration: Current registration with the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT) or a relevant professional regulatory body.
- Licensing: A valid, up-to-date practicing license.
- Experience: At least one (1) year of clinical experience in a hospital or dental setting is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
