Duties and Responsibilities
- Wound Management: Assess and manage surgical wounds, ulcers, burns, and traumatic injuries.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform professional wound cleaning and dressing using appropriate sterile techniques.
- Progress Monitoring: Closely monitor healing progress and identify early signs of infection or complications.
- Documentation: Maintain precise and accurate records of wound care and patient recovery.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their caregivers on proper hygiene and at-home wound care.
- Collaboration: Work alongside doctors and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient management.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Registered Nurse (EN/ANO) graduated from a recognized institution.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid professional practicing license.
- Experience: Proven experience specifically in wound care and dressing management.
- Skills: * Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and within a team environment.
