Duties and Responsibilities
As the Pharmacy Storekeeper, you will be the backbone of the medical warehouse. Your primary goal is to ensure that medicines are available and stored safely.
- Stock Management: Supervise orders, receive deliveries, and verify quantities.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock cards and use FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles to prevent waste.
- Quality & Safety: Monitor temperature and humidity for cold chain products and ensure the warehouse is secure from unauthorized access.
- Distribution: Prepare and dispatch medical supplies to various wards and departments as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
MSF is seeking a professional who is detail-oriented and committed to humanitarian principles.
- Education: A Diploma or Certificate in Pharmaceutical Science.
- Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role. (Experience with NGOs or MSF is a plus!).
- Languages: Must be fluent in Swahili. English proficiency is highly desirable.
- Tech Skills: Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and Internet).
- Soft Skills: Flexibility, ability to work under stress, and a strong sense of teamwork.
