About MOFAT Company and DART
The Dar es Salaam Rapid Transit Agency (DART) was established under the Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997 and became operational on May 25, 2007, through Government Notice No. 120. DART’s key role is to plan, implement, and operate the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system in Dar es Salaam.
To deliver Phase II of this transport infrastructure, DART has contracted MOFAT Company Limited, which prioritizes safety, sustainability, and service excellence across all its operations.

2. Procurement Officer

4. Environmental Specialist Officer

8. Workshop Supervisor – (2 Posts)
Duties: Oversee workshop operations, schedule maintenance, and supervise mechanics and technicians.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in automotive or mechanical engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of diesel, pneumatic, and electrical systems
9. Bus Drivers – (255 Posts)
Duties: Operate BRT buses under DART Phase II with a focus on safety, customer service, and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class C (PSV) driver’s license
- 3+ years of driving experience in commercial or public transport
- Certificate from VETA or NIT
- Familiarity with Dar es Salaam routes
