Main Responsibilities
Under the Public Service Act (Cap. 298, amended by Act No. 18 of 2007, Section 29(1)), PSRS is responsible for:
- Sourcing skilled professionals and keeping a database of qualified candidates for easy placement.
- Registering graduates and professionals for quick reference when job openings arise.
- Advertising available government job vacancies.
- Engaging relevant experts to conduct interviews.
- Advising employers on various employment issues.
- Carrying out any other tasks assigned by the Minister responsible for Public Service.
