Lecturer in Computer Engineering (1 Position)

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a PhD in Computer Engineering.
  • Master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5/5.0 from institutions recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
  • Prior university teaching experience will be considered an added advantage.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with backgrounds or expertise in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or ICT.

Duties:

  • Conduct lectures, hold seminars and tutorials, supervise students, invigilate examinations, and perform other related academic activities.
  • Undergo training to PhD level.
  • Undergo an induction course in pedagogical skills for those who had none before.
  • Conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practicals for undergraduate programs.
  • Assist senior staff in practical sessions, seminars, and tutorials.
  • Work in cooperation with senior members on specific projects.
  • Supervise special projects for undergraduate students.
  • Mentor junior staff in all relevant academic matters.
  • Participate in curriculum development.
  • Participate in developing and managing various university projects.
  • Undertake research and publish research results.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the relevant authority.
Assistant Lecturer in Computer Engineering (2 Positions)

Qualifications:

  • Holder of a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering with a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.5/5.0 from institutions recognized by TCU.
  • Prior university teaching experience will be considered an added advantage.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with backgrounds or expertise in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the relevant authority.

  • Must hold a PhD in Accounting or Marketing.
  • Master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5/5.0 from institutions recognized by TCU.
  • Prior university teaching experience will be considered an added advantage.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with backgrounds or expertise in Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.

Remuneration

Successful candidates will be offered attractive packages commensurate with their qualifications and experience.
