Specialist Physician (Internal Medicine) Job at Mbalizi Hospital

Mbalizi-Ifisi Hospital is located approximately 20 kilometers west of Mbeya City along the Tunduma–Zambia highway, in Ikumbi Ifisi Village near Mbalizi town.

The Hospital has received approval to recruit new employees from the Secretary General of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania through Ref. No. MH/GC/TEC/01/2025.

Applications are therefore invited from qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions. These positions are replacements for employees who have left employment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must possess a Master of Medicine (M.Med) in Internal Medicine (minimum three years) from a Government-recognized university.
• Must be registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
• Must hold a valid practicing license.
• Experience in managing complex internal medicine cases is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with complex medical conditions.
• Provide consultation services to other departments.
• Supervise junior doctors and clinical staff.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide patient education and counseling.
• Conduct research and contribute to academic activities.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the employer.

Salary: Above TGS E (Higher than Government scale).
