6 Driver Grade II at Momba District Council

To provide safe, efficient and reliable transportation services for the Council’s operations while maintaining vehicles in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Safely transport staff to various official destinations
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
• Handle and distribute official documents securely
• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and trip records
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and serviceable
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Form IV Certificate (CSEE)
• License: Valid Class E or C driving license
• Experience: Minimum 1 year accident-free driving record
• Training: Basic vehicle mechanics certificate from VETA or recognized institution (advantage)
