Job Description
To provide safe, efficient and reliable transportation services for the Council’s operations while maintaining vehicles in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Safely transport staff to various official destinations
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
- Handle and distribute official documents securely
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and trip records
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean and serviceable
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Form IV Certificate (CSEE)
- License: Valid Class E or C driving license
- Experience: Minimum 1 year accident-free driving record
- Training: Basic vehicle mechanics certificate from VETA or recognized institution (advantage)
