Position Terms

Role Responsibilities
As a Medical Attendant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring all working tools are in place and in good working condition.
• Directing patients and relatives appropriately.
• Assisting in the preparation of patients before they see the doctor or enter the consulting room/theatre.
• Communicating effectively with doctors and other staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assisting in controlling patient flow in the clinical area.
• Transporting patients, equipment, and supplies between units.
• Verifying specimens and transporting them to the laboratory.
• Maintaining a clean, quiet, calm, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Conducting weekly and monthly cleaning as scheduled.

Candidate Requirements

• Form 4 certificate plus one year of basic nursing training from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 1 year of working experience.
• Computer literacy.
• Good communication skills in English and Swahili.
• Flexibility and ability to multitask.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
