The Executive Director of Tarime District Council has officially announced new employment opportunities for Tanzanian citizens. Following approval from the President’s Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance, the Council is inviting qualified applicants to fill ten (10) vacancies as outlined below.
- Office Management Secretaries Grade II – Five (5) Posts
Duties and Responsibilities:
Typing official and confidential documents.
Receiving visitors and directing them to appropriate offices.
Managing records, appointments, meetings, and official schedules.
Handling files and distributing them to relevant departments.
Preparing meeting notes and ensuring office supplies are available.
Carrying out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV or Form VI).
Diploma in Secretarial Studies (NTA Level 6).
Proficiency in shorthand writing (100 words per minute in Kiswahili and English).
Computer training with certification in Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, Email, and Publisher.
Salary Scale: Government Salary Scale TGS ‘C’.
- Drivers Grade II – Five (5) Posts
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspecting vehicles before and after trips.
Driving staff to various official destinations.
Performing minor vehicle maintenance.
Delivering and collecting official documents.
Maintaining trip records and ensuring vehicle cleanliness.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV).
Valid driving license Class E or C.
At least one year of accident-free driving experience.
Basic Driving Course certificate from VETA or any recognized institution.
Salary Scale: Government Salary Scale TGS ‘B’.
