The Mkuranga District Council has officially announced new job vacancies following the approval of employment permits as per reference No. FA.97/228/01/A/25 dated 29th April 2025, from the Permanent Secretary – President’s Office Public Service Management and Good Governance.
Qualified Tanzanian citizens are invited to apply for the following positions:
- Driver Grade II – 5 Positions
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspecting the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety.
Transporting staff for official duties.
Performing minor vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Collecting and delivering official documents.
Recording all trip details in a logbook.
Ensuring cleanliness of the vehicle.
Performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV).
Class E or C driving license with at least one year of accident-free experience.
Completion of Basic Driving Course from VETA or other recognized institution.
Salary Scale: TGS B
- Records Management Assistant Grade II – 4 Positions
Duties and Responsibilities:
Registering incoming and outgoing correspondences.
Distributing files to and from officers.
Tracking the circulation of files within the institution.
Returning files to their appropriate storage.
Qualifications:
Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV or VI).
Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Records Management from a government-recognized institution.
Basic computer skills are required.
Salary Scale: TGS C
General Requirements:
Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.
Must include a signed application letter, birth certificate, detailed CV, and copies of academic and professional certificates.
Results slips or provisional statements are not accepted.
Applicants with foreign qualifications must have their certificates verified by TCU, NECTA, or NACTE.
Retired public servants are not eligible unless they possess written permission from the Chief Secretary.
Currently employed public servants in entry-level positions should not apply.
