Agave Hospitality Company Limited, a company operating in the hospitality sector, is offering internship opportunities for motivated individuals interested in cashier and front-office operations within the restaurant industry. This program is conducted under Agave Restaurant, providing hands-on experience and training in all essential cashier responsibilities.
Internship Program Overview:
Location: Agave Restaurant (Uben zomozi- Chalinze)
Duration: 5 Months
Start Date: Immediately
Training & Learning Areas:
Interns will be mentored by experienced hospitality professionals and trained in:
- Cash handling and reconciliation procedures
- Point of Sale (POS) system operation
- Customer billing and payment processing
- Issuing receipts and maintaining transaction records
- Daily sales reporting and balancing of accounts
- Basic accounting and record-keeping principles
- Customer service and communication skills in a restaurant setting
- Compliance with financial and operational policies
Requirements:
- Education: Certificate or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related fields
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity in handling cash
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Fresh graduates or final-year students awaiting graduation are encouraged to apply
