Tanzania job vacancies

ICT Officer – 2 Positions

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in ICT from a government-recognized institution.
  • At least one year of experience in Data Entry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enter clinical, laboratory, and other form data into the database quickly and accurately.
  • Analyze and organize data in numerical or date-based sequences.
  • Communicate with the supervisor regarding problematic forms or database issues.
  • Perform reconciliation between different databases.
  • Provide advice on improving data and its storage.
  • Handle technical issues when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor related to education, experience, and skills.

Health Records Assistant – 6 Positions

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Form Four education.
  • Must hold a Diploma in Health Records Management from a government-recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and register patients in reception books.
  • Open patient files and maintain related records.
  • Collect, store, analyze, and interpret health and related information.
  • Prepare and enter hospital health reports into the information system.
  • Verify and monitor the quality of patient data.
  • Prepare all necessary health reports for the hospital, ministry, etc., and submit them to the Medical Officer in Charge.
  • Supervise the work of subordinates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor related to education, experience, and skills.

Assistant Nursing Officer II – 4 Positions

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Form Four education.
  • Must hold a Diploma in Nursing from a government-recognized institution.
  • Must be registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council and have a valid license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect important health data.
  • Guide nurses under their supervision.
  • Educate patients and the community about health problems.
  • Provide preventive and maternal health services.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Form Four certificate.
  • Must hold a Diploma in Radiology Technology from a government-recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients directed to their work area.
  • Maintain radiology machines and equipment.
  • Inspect X-Ray images for diagnostic quality and sufficiency.
  • Maintain patient images until results reach referring doctors.
  • Supervise subordinates.
  • Provide advice on radiology and radiation matters in their work area.
  • Prepare medical/diagnostic equipment and oversee their sterilization.
  • Provide initial training to new employees in their work area.

Health Assistant – 5 Positions

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Form Four education.
  • Must hold a Certificate in their field from a government-recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean work equipment, wards, and the surrounding environment.
  • Assist disabled and incapacitated patients with hygiene (defecation, urination, and bathing).
  • Help feed incapacitated patients.
  • Take patient clothes for washing.
  • Take patient samples for laboratory tests and follow up on results.
  • Prepare equipment for cleaning and bandaging wounds.
  • Follow up on patient medication needs from the drug store.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Cook II – 1 Position

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Form Four certificate.
  • Must have completed training in cooking from a government-recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food according to patient needs.
  • Inform the supervisor of food shortages or increases in the number of people requiring food for prompt resolution.
  • Maintain all cooking utensils.
  • Clean the kitchen and cooking utensils.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor related to education, experience, and skills.

Terms of Employment

  • Employment is on a one-year contract.
  • Contracts may be renewed for employees demonstrating work efficiency.

  • Applicants must be between 18 and 45 years old.
