Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse at LESA, you will be a vital link between our clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. You will provide comprehensive nursing support, working closely with our dental surgeons to ensure seamless procedures and a safe, sterile environment for all.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clinical Assistance: Provide high-level chairside assistance to dentists during various oral surgeries and routine procedures.
  • Patient Advocacy: Lead patient education sessions regarding pre-operative preparations and post-operative recovery care.
  • Safety & Sterilization: Maintain rigorous infection control protocols, ensuring all instruments and surgical areas meet international sterilization standards.
  • Record Management: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient electronic health records.
  • Patient Triage: Monitor patient vitals, manage medical histories, and provide immediate care in case of clinical emergencies.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are looking for a professional who is technically proficient and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Licensure: Must be actively registered with the TNMC (Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council).
  • Professional Development: Up-to-date CPD points are a mandatory requirement.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of active nursing experience.
  • Preferred Skill: Previous experience in Dental Assistance is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Training: Completed clinical training and a verified internship program.

Work Details

  • Shift Structure: 8-hour workdays.
  • Environment: Modern, fast-paced dental surgical clinic.
