As a Registered Nurse at LESA, you will be a vital link between our clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. You will provide comprehensive nursing support, working closely with our dental surgeons to ensure seamless procedures and a safe, sterile environment for all.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clinical Assistance: Provide high-level chairside assistance to dentists during various oral surgeries and routine procedures.
- Patient Advocacy: Lead patient education sessions regarding pre-operative preparations and post-operative recovery care.
- Safety & Sterilization: Maintain rigorous infection control protocols, ensuring all instruments and surgical areas meet international sterilization standards.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient electronic health records.
- Patient Triage: Monitor patient vitals, manage medical histories, and provide immediate care in case of clinical emergencies.
Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for a professional who is technically proficient and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Licensure: Must be actively registered with the TNMC (Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council).
- Professional Development: Up-to-date CPD points are a mandatory requirement.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of active nursing experience.
- Preferred Skill: Previous experience in Dental Assistance is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
- Training: Completed clinical training and a verified internship program.
