Makete District Council has officially announced 12 job vacancies for the position of Driver Class II. This recruitment follows an official employment permit granted by the President’s Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance.
Position: Driver Class II (12 Posts)
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety.
Transport employees to different work locations.
Conduct minor vehicle repairs.
Distribute and collect official documents.
Maintain a logbook for all journeys.
Clean and maintain the assigned vehicle.
Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications Required:
Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV or VI).
Valid driving license Class E or C with at least one year of accident-free driving experience.
Basic Driving Course from VETA or a government-recognized institution.
Salary Scale: TGS B1 as per government standards.
General Conditions:
Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45.
