Medical Doctor at Mkombozi Polyclinic

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, make diagnoses and develop management plans for adult and pediatric patients.
• Prescribe medications, request and interpret lab tests and imaging studies.
• Perform minor procedures as needed and refer complex cases to specialists.
• Supervise, mentor and support nursing staff and medical attendants.
• Lead or participate in community outreach, health education and preventive campaigns.

Qualification and Experience

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized university.
• Full registration with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
• At least two years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• Excellent clinical judgment, leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
