Laboratory Technologist (Biofertilizer) Job Vacancy at Bagamoyo Sugar Limited

Duties and Responsibilities

• Quality Control of incoming raw materials e.g. chemicals
• Water microbial analysis.
• Isolation of microbes for mass production of LBF and LBP.
• Inoculation of slants and Agar with micro-organisms for both LBF and LBP.
• Total viable counting for both LBF and LBP
• Chemical weighing and mass media preparation for both LBF and LBP
• Preparation of mother cultures.
• Supervise production and distribution of LBF and LBP according to the fertigation plan.
• Record daily production of LBF and LBP.
• Supervise proper cleaning and sterilization.
• Quality check of LBF and LBP

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor degree in biotechnology & laboratory science/microbiology
• At least 1year proven working experience.
• Applicants must have NIDA &TIN
• Applicants must have an introduction letter from local government and two referee letters.
