Established in 1959, UMATI (Chama cha Uzazi na Malezi Bora Tanzania) is an premier national NGO and a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). Fully registered under Tanzanian NGO laws, UMATI is a long-standing pioneer in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services. The organization works in close partnership with the Ministry of Health and the President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG) to deliver:

  • Comprehensive Family Planning and integrated clinical services.

  • Youth-focused SRHR programs and community-based health delivery.
