Job Description
Location: Dar es Salaam, Bagamoyo, Mwanza, Mara, Mbeya, Kigoma, Kagera, Zanzibar, Arusha, Tanga, Kilimanjaro, Mtwara and Lindi
About TAEC
The Tanzania Atomic Energy Commission (TAEC) is a government institution established under the Atomic Energy Act No. 7 of 2003 (Cap. 188). The Commission regulates and supervises the use of atomic energy and nuclear technology in Tanzania while ensuring the protection of workers, patients, the public and the environment from harmful effects of radiation.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor Degree in Radiography, Nuclear Physics, Radiation Protection, Nuclear Science and Technology, or related equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the relevant Professional Board.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
- Computer proficiency.
General Requirements
- Tanzanian citizen aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Must be willing to work as a volunteer.
- Must have good moral character and no criminal conviction.
Volunteer Benefits
Successful volunteers will receive transport and lunch allowances in accordance with TAEC Volunteering Guidelines. No salary will be paid.
