Qualifications and Experience

1. Tutorial Assistant / Tutor

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (First Class or Upper Second Class).
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 or B+ and above.

2. Assistant Lecturer

  • Master’s Degree in relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of 4.0 or B+.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (First Class or Upper Second Class) with GPA of at least 3.5 or B+.

3. Lecturer

  • PhD in relevant field or MMed Degree or equivalent with minimum GPA of 4.0; or
  • Master’s Degree in relevant field with GPA of at least 4.0 or B+; and
  • Bachelor’s Degree (First Class or Upper Second Class) with GPA of at least 3.5 or B+.

4. Senior Lecturer

  • Must meet all qualifications for Lecturer.
  • Minimum of five (5) publication points upon assessment.
  • At least three (3) years of teaching, research, and consultancy experience after attaining the rank of Lecturer.

5. Laboratory Technicians

  • Ordinary Diploma in relevant field.
  • At least four (4) years of relevant hands-on working experience.

Duties and Responsibilities (Academic Staff)

  • Teaching students in relevant academic programmes.
  • Conducting research for advancement of knowledge.
  • Providing consultancy services and participating in community outreach and public service.
