Kahama Municipal Council wishes to inform all citizens, regardless of age, gender, or disability, that due to the implementation of the Emergency Hiring Program for health workers, new employees are required to be placed in health facilities starting from May 2021.
Therefore, the Director of Kahama Municipal Council invites Tanzanians with the required qualifications to apply for job vacancies available at the Municipal Council as specified below:
Pharmaceutical Technologist – 4 Positions
Qualifications:
- Must have a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a Government-recognized institution.
- Must be registered by the Pharmacy Council and possess a valid license.
Applicant Qualifications
- The applicant must have completed Form Four or Form Six education and hold a Diploma in:
- Pharmaceutical Technology (Pharmacy Technician).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare medicines and medical supplies.
- Store, preserve, and distribute medicines and medical supplies in their area of responsibility.
- Prepare medicines and medical supplies for patient use.
- Maintain records of medicines and medical supplies.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor based on education, profession, and experience.
Salary Scale: As per Government Salary Scales (TGHS A)
General Conditions for Applicants
- The applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen aged between 18 and 45 years.
- The applicant must attach a copy of their Birth Certificate.
- Applicants must attach a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (C.V) with a reliable address and phone number(s), plus the names of three reliable referees and their phone numbers.
- All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of Academic and Professional Certificates from recognized institutions, verified by a Lawyer or Commissioner for Oaths.
