Mofat Transport and Logistics is actively recruiting for various positions to support the expansion of the Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system under Phase II, which is set to commence operations on September 1, 2025. The company aims to fill over 1,000 roles, with 423 positions currently advertised, including 255 bus drivers and 158 passenger service officers .
Position: Drivers (300 posts)
Job Summary
To safely operate BRT buses and ensure timely transportation of passengers along designated routes.
Qualifications
- Driving licence Class C certified by the Tanzania Police
- Passenger service Vehicle certificate ( PSV) from NIT or VETA
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving passengers or heavy vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and customer service skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate buses in compliance with schedules and traffic regulations.
- Ensure passenger safety, comfort, and adherence to BRT rules.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Report accidents, delays, or mechanical faults promptly.
