The Executive Director of Mbozi District Council has received official approval for new employment opportunities from the Permanent Secretary of the President’s Office – Public Service Management. Qualified Tanzanians are invited to apply for sixteen (16) vacant positions as outlined below:
Office Management Secretary II – 5 Positions
Responsibilities include typing letters, reports, and confidential documents, handling visitors and guiding them accordingly, managing schedules, appointments, and files, as well as preparing meeting notes and arranging office supplies.
Applicants must have completed Form IV or VI with a Diploma (NTA level 6) in Secretarial Studies. They must also have passed shorthand typing at 100 words per minute in both English and Swahili and possess computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, and Publisher.
Salary will be paid according to government scale TGS C.
Records Assistant II – 4 Positions
Duties involve registering incoming and outgoing correspondence, distributing and tracking files within departments, maintaining file archives, and supporting file retrieval.
Eligible candidates should have completed Form IV or VI and hold a Diploma (NTA level 6) in Records Management from a recognized institution, with basic computer skills.
Remuneration will follow the TGS C government salary scale.
Driver II – 7 Positions
Responsibilities include conducting vehicle checks before and after trips, driving staff to various destinations, performing minor vehicle maintenance, cleaning the vehicle, and maintaining accurate travel logs.
Applicants should have a Form IV certificate, a valid driving license (Class E or C), and at least one year of driving experience without accidents. They must also have completed a basic driving course from VETA or another recognized institution.
Salary will be paid under the TGS B1 government scale.
