Job Summary
The Nurse Midwife will provide obstetrical care to pregnant women and their babies, conducting follow-ups before, during, and after delivery, adhering to MTI’s obstetrical protocols and universal health standards.

Comprehensive Maternal Services
Provide care during and after pregnancy, manage complications, and refer high-risk cases.
Delivery Services
Deliver babies, prepare birth attestations, and monitor maternal and newborn health.
Counseling
Advise mothers on breastfeeding, hygiene, and post-pregnancy care.
Primary Healthcare
Participate in health education, family planning, nutrition programs, and PMTCT activities.
Family Planning
Provide non-surgical methods and counsel on surgical options.
Immunization
Ensure timely immunization of newborns.
Sexual Violence Support
Assist doctors in managing sexual violence cases.
Inventory Management
Monitor and report drug and equipment needs for maternity services.
Hygiene and Sterilization
Maintain universal hygiene and sterilization protocols.
Ethical Practices
Uphold professional and MTI Codes of Conduct.
Reporting
Ensure accurate data collection and timely reporting.
