Njombe Regional Referral Hospital invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for the following contract positions as the hospital expands its services:
1. Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology (Radiographer II) – 2 Positions
Qualifications: Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology from a government-recognized college and registration with the Medical Radiology and Imaging Professionals Council.
Duties:
- Maintain radiotherapy equipment.
- Provide quality services to patients as instructed by doctors.
- Manage radiation quality from equipment to patient.
- Oversee departmental consumables.
- Provide professional advice on radiotherapy.
- Prepare sterilization and examination tools.
- Educate patients scheduled for services.
- Perform other duties related to education and professional experience.
2. Diploma in Nursing II (Nurse II) – 10 Positions
Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing from a government-recognized college and registration with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Duties:
- Perform nursing duties in community, hospital, or other health service areas.
- Coordinate health service duties in the department.
- Prepare daily and monthly performance reports.
- Care for home-bound patients.
- Provide professional advice and family planning education.
- Educate on child health and community health issues.
- Follow standard procedures and guidelines.
- Perform other duties related to education and professional experience.
3. Health Assistant – 4 Positions
Qualifications: Certificate in Health Assistance from a government-recognized college.
Duties:
- Clean tools, floors, and health service areas.
- Assist bedridden patients with daily activities.
- Manage laundry and patient clothing.
- Prepare patients for examinations and tests.
- Transport patients between departments.
- Clean tools after use and prepare rooms for admission.
- Educate the community on cleanliness and hygiene.
- Perform other duties related to education and professional experience.
