Dar es Salaam Tumaini University (DarTU) has opened its doors to dynamic and qualified professionals as part of its strategic transformation towards embracing the digital economy and the 4th Industrial Revolution. The university aims to nurture competent legal and technology experts equipped for the demands of a fast-evolving global landscape.
Currently, DarTU is inviting applications from Tanzanian citizens for the following positions:
Lecturer in Law (3 positions) – Applicants must hold a PhD in Law, an LLM with a minimum GPA of 4.0, and an LLB with at least a GPA of 3.5. Prior university teaching experience and legal practice are added advantages. Preference will be given to those specializing in fields such as Administrative Law, Civil Procedures, Labour Law, and Oil and Gas Law, among others.
Assistant Lecturer in Law (4 positions) – Candidates should possess an LLM with a GPA of 4.0 and an LLB with a GPA of 3.5. Teaching experience and High Court advocacy credentials are advantageous. Areas of interest include Criminal Law, International Trade Law, and Legal Drafting.
Assistant Lecturer in Computer Science (1 position) – The applicant must have both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science (or a closely related field), with minimum GPAs of 3.5 and 4.0 respectively. Candidates should demonstrate experience with online teaching platforms and research contributions in the field.
